We refer to these features as the Token Economy Essentials because they are all you need to work with digital assets (aka Tokens). TEOS implements them all seamlessly
Documentation allows you to record all information about an asset and anchor its proof of authenticity on the blockchain. This asset could be anything, even a document itself, which does not need to be subsequently tokenized and can comfortably exist only with its unique identifier. Documentation can be used to add issuer information, rights, and claims to tokens (and amend them later in case something changes) as well as for simply notarizing data on the blockchain. The timestamp, author signature, and fingerprint (hash) immutably prove who documented what and when. TEOS then considers everything that has been documented as a “digital asset” regardless of whether it may be a financial asset or just a piece of information.
Tokenization adds a quantifiable substance to a digital asset. When tokenizing a digital asset, you can choose a unit of measure, which is usually a real-life unit such as kilograms, ounces, or square meters. Or simply use pieces, counts, or Tokens. CoreLedger has found a fundamentally new way to account for positive and negative interest rates and storage costs without violating the fundamental principles of blockchain and property rights.
CoreLedger has also realized governance, which is executed on the blockchain level and can add rules and restrictions to the use of digital assets. In its simplest forms, these are Whitelists and Blacklists, making KYC and AML processes possible directly on chain. Due to the nature of blockchain, these rules cannot be bent or broken
A token economy can only truly thrive if it is liquid. CoreLedger has invented a completely new method of trading, which is based on linking offers to each other and forming transaction sequences. This trading method – called Token WARP is essential for creating thriving ecosystems.
We created TEOS because we realized that a token economy cannot just grow on a state-of-the-art token-contract alone. It needs functions and functionalities. For more detailed information, see our whitepaper.
These TEOS features can be used and integrated through the TEOS API.
